ELECTRO POP: with a leader of the German KRATWERK, thousands of groups has limited technical but impeccable sense of melody starts in the all-electronic pop (or almost). We think of MDGs, Depeche Mode, John Foxx, Human League, Gary Numan etc. ..
Today, we speak of MINIMUM, with emphasis on analog synth sounds warmer than digital and minimalist arrangements.
postpunk: More groovy tribal and that the new wave with his bass lines very prominent (G ang of oven, Liquid Liquid, Maximum Joy , past Clash, Tom Tom Club, XTC, Talking Heads, Feelies, Woodentops ). A genre that remain globally less vendor in Europe that groups purely "new wave" that will be very influential throughout the rock scene 2000 ( Franz Ferdinand, Radio 4, Liars, Bloc Party , etc. ..)

HENRIETTA Coulouvrat , a bit tripped. Shifted so that it will eventually be really trendy. Very inspired by Chinese music, she has made several singles electro pop as well as an entire album with Boris Bergman (excellent lyricist "gaby" in Bashung ) and Roland Bocquet (ex-catharsis ) In the 80s.
Marc Roger VANDEVOORDE of Polyphonic size. Belgian Group relatively meteoric career but a major influence. (He can count among its fan the 2many deejays-soulwax, Dominique A or Stereo Total). He had so much in my head today, he became a computer engineer.
FRANCK DARCEL of Marquis de Sade . (Two remarkable albums "Dantzig Twist" and "Rue de Siam" in 79 and 80) The music takes a while since he converted in recce politics! Prolific producer in Portugal in the 90's, he started a new project Republik (montecarlo records).
ORTAS Rachel, a lovely little lady who after founding the Tokow boys in the late 70's evolve with his companion while Eric Tabuchi towards a more pop and will a box under their new name Luna Parker ( "states of souls, Eric" ). Today she is an illustrator and teacher of fine art in London. Eric is now a photographer. (They are also very talented and respectively I encouraged to visit their exhibitions!)
Theo Hakola American who laid down in France in the late 70s. After training RED ORCHESTRA and PASSION FODDER , he turned to production (Black desire), written books and produced albums more personal and folk between Bob Dylan and Tom Waits the musical programing was done in collaboration with David tappers of the night .
